S. Prescott Harris II

As the co-founder of McGruder Harris, S. Prescott has earned a reputation as a highly-effective strategist with a winning record in the political, public and private sectors. Harris leads the Advocacy and Coalition Building practice of McGruder Harris where he provides strategy for state and local governments, elected officials, and national organizations in the areas of campaign management, issue advocacy, strategic communications, advertising, digital and grassroots and grasstops organizing.
Harris has over a decade-long history of developing and implementing winning grassroots strategies for a number of the nation's high-profile campaigns and political organizations including, Obama for America, Obama Victory Fund, Organizing for America, Organizing for Action, Bernie 2016, Hillary for America, the Pennsylvania Democratic Party, the Florida Democratic Party, the Tennessee Democratic Party and Brenda Gilmore for State Senate.
Prior to 2008, he has worked in a wide range of industries including, telecommunications, computer hardware and software, travel, tourism and hospitality, and financial services. Harris has led engagements addressing business and corporate strategy, sales, and marketing effectiveness.
He has completed studies in Executive Education at Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government. In addition, to completing studies in African-American Studies and Economics at Yale University.
Harris is a member of the United Nations Volunteer Programme, the Harvard Club of Washington D.C., Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and Rotary International.
